Alternative (Selvlagde) Scenarios
Scenario 1: The Giants Lair
Deployment:
Roll off to see which player picks the half of the table they will deploy in. The opponent will deploy in the other half.
Players then take it in turns to place units on the table, using the alternating units method of deployment.
First turn:
Roll off after deployment to see which player takes the first turn. The player that finished deploying his army first add +1 to his roll.
Game length:
The battle will last for six game turns, or until a time limit agreed by the players is reached, whichever comes first.
Victory conditions:
Killing the giant yields 200VP.
Each captured treasure yields 75VP each.
Scenario Special Rules:
1. Rampant giant.
- The giant is deployed last, in the middle of the map facing in a random direction.
- Random movement. The giant uses 2d6 random movement unless there are enemies within charge distance. (The giant is rather stupid, roll his facing before deciding if someone can be charged.)
- The local giant is not too happy with visitors, and will charge any unit that is within range.
2. Treasures!!
- 5 treasure markers are scattered around the battlefield.
- To loot the treasures a unit have to move within 3'' of the treasure marker. A captured treasure remains with the unit untill the game ends unless the unit is destroyed or if the unit flees from combat.
- A unit that flees off the table with a treasure marker yields no VP. (The soldiers is assumed to have deserted and run to the nearest grog hut to spend their newly aquired loot.)
