They came from the east. The once great horde of warriors of the Savage Legion, tens of thousands strong, had been fighting all the way through the Mountains of Mourn and the Dark Lands from the Eastern Steppes. Now there they were merely a few hundred left. The initial fights against the ogres in the Mountains of Mourn had claimed many warriors, and the journey through the Dark Lands had claimed many more, both to hunger, and battles against both chaos dwarves and roaming Orc and Goblin warbands that frequent the area. The largest part of the army however, had fallen to the dwarves guarding the entrance of the dwarf city of Karaz-a-Karak and the Silver Road. The dwarves had after a week of intense battles the sorcerer Vardek Bloodwind completed a grand spell that melted the very mountainsides, sealing in the main host of the dwarves within their own tunnels. The mountain pass was now littered with bodies from both sides, and rivers of blood were still running down from the mountain. It had been a glorious sacrefice to the blood god indeed.

Once on the other side of the mountain, the few remaining warriors saw the promised land. Great fields of grass, large forests abundant with wild game, and best of all, the lands seemed to be guarded only by weakling peasants.. The rugged warriors quickly took control over the roads and a castle. While making a few repairs to the castle, Malagor, a chosen of Slaanesh took it upon himself to scout around the area, trying to get a better look on what possible opposition could be out there. After a few days ride, he had seen a great host of orcs coming from the south, and from the west came a host of goblins from the mountains, and a number of elves from the seas. All the three warhosts were quite formidable, and Malagor quickly formed a plan to slow down all three armies as competitors for the lands. He met up with a goblin shaman from the Nose Eataz tribe and convinced him that if they attacked the elves, he would give them support to destroy them. The goblin reluctantly agreed, and went back to his camp wondering how to explain to his warboss that they "Can't bash dem spiky 'umies."

The next day battlelines were forming up, a band of Khorne worshipping marauders taking up the center, and a group of warriors on the right flank. On the left flank the Nose Eataz gathered up. Surprisingly the elven ranks seemed to be bolstered by orcs and goblins from the southern tribe. Malagor paid it no heed, more bodies for the slaughter to come. The armies started to move. Not missing the oppertunity, Malagor charged forth to stop the elves from shooting down his entire army. The arrows from the combined elf and orc forces seemed to darken the skies like clouds, all aiming for the frenzied marauder warband who was charging across the battlefield. Malagor managed to outmaneuver a large band of orcs and crashed right into the flanks of some High elf Sea Guards. After killing several of the elves, Malagor got a second to get a new overview of the battle. The marauders were charging into a throng of goblins when the goblins suddenly threw out fanatics in all directions, one aiming straight for him and the elven unit. The goblin spun his giant metal ball like a whirlwind of death, slamming elves about as he closed up fast on Malagor. With no time to react to the fast approaching ball of death, Malagor could but smile on this twist of fate. Slaughtering ogres, trolls and giants, he was to be slain by the hands of a simple goblin. His world went dark.

Invasjon i Grensefyrstedømmene - Fluff og sånt Empty Da Burning Skull Waaagh!!!

Invasion
"Warboss Gorfang Ardclaw tricked 'em good!" shaman Badgitt said. He'd lead his Waaagh! out round Croockback Mountain in the Darklands. "Dem stunties in Barak Varr never knew to could warn dem humies." The horde had descended through Mad Dog Pass just after the Tusked Sunz Waaagh! had come through and failed miserably. As far as the humans had known there wasn't any other hordes nearby, on that side of the mountains. And they paid the Dwarfs good to keep a watch on the Badlands. Gorfang Ardclaw and the Burning Skulls tribe had started in the Badlands, alright. Gorfang had defeated and recruited the nearby Lightning Teef goblin tribe. They weren't famous, but they were fast. And they had some nasty war machines. He'd made them build a chariot for some pigs he found left over from the Tusked Sunz. That thing seemed unstable, but quite safe compared to the things the snotlings in the tribe made. When the Burning Skulls had started their long march Gorfang had quickly rooted out the Red Moon goblins in Death Pass. And by the time his horde descended into human lands he had enough goblin cannonfodder to sack Zenres immediately. Now the dwarfs would be surrounded if they tried anything, and the gates in from the Badlands were open.

Battle! With da skinnies?!
Warboss Ardclaw had wanted to secure the northern border against the Savage Legion. But to do that he needed to make sure the Legion was busy elsewhere. He gave one of his most ambitious Big Bosses, Rugrot, a small force ready to stir up some trouble in the west.

Big Boss Rugrot mustered his troops and marched quickly. After a couple of weeks he found some of the Savage Legion troops readying to attack an abandoned elven force. Rugrot was already giving orders about joining in the skinning of the skinnies when his wolf rider gobbos reported that the bloody Nose Eataz gits already had allied with the Legion. Since everybody knows the Nose Eataz are a good-for-nothing two-bit bunch of sons of stunties, the Burning Skulls could never fight on the same side as them.
Rugrot ordered his boyz and gobbos to assist the skinnies, and get rid of the Eataz.

The skinnies were surprised, but didn't complain. Obviously they thought about dealing with Rugrot's force as soon as the battle was over. The battle started slowly. Rugrot ordered his archers to concentrate on the less armored pinkies, while the wolfies rode around to either stop the Eataz' shaman or chuckas. The Legion's commander rode alone and devilish fast. Rugrot's troop got really confused, and ended up fighting amongst themselves until the most heavy armored foes descended upon them. The archers, both arrer boyz and gobbos, almost charged each other while the Legion's commander attacked the nearby elves. He got in a few hits, but the elves were sturdy for their size. Just after that the gobbos' biggest contribution to the battle happened. The Legion commander got too close to the goblins and was hit by a shroom fueled goblin catapulting out of the unit. The commander ended up entangled with the chain connecting the ball to the goblin, and was left incapacitated while his mount was slain.

On the other side of the field the Eataz' main battle force advanced, largely unopposed. While the Burning Skulls' archers and the elves got rid of the light armed humans they were more or less surrounded. Rugrot assessed the situation and tried to flee the battle with the tin-can-troops following. He was heavily wounded when they were caught, but just strong enough to latch his steel claw into the back of a fleeing subordinate. His groups of archers, wolfies and the shaman Gashgar were run down or run off without much trouble. Gashgar at least made sure that the Foot of Gork stomped the skinnies' shaman before he ran.

The aftermath showed that the Burning Skull clan got a fairly safe border to the Savage Legion, but the Legion had been busy securing the mountain pass for more reinforcements anyway...
